Electronic Carrier Tape

Electronic carrier tape is typically produced from thermoplastic materials such as PS (Polystyrene), PC (Polycarbonate), ABS, PET, or APET. These materials provide good forming performance, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability.

Depending on the application requirements, the tape can also include antistatic properties to help reduce electrostatic discharge when packaging sensitive electronic components.

Electronic carrier tape is widely used for packaging surface-mount electronic components in SMT production lines. It allows components to be automatically fed into pick-and-place machines during PCB assembly.
