Component Carrier Tape

Component carrier tapes are commonly manufactured from thermoplastic materials such as PS (Polystyrene), PC (Polycarbonate), ABS, PET, or APET. These materials provide good forming performance, dimensional stability, and mechanical strength, making them suitable for electronic component packaging.

For sensitive electronic components, carrier tapes can also be produced with antistatic properties to help reduce electrostatic discharge during packaging and handling.

Carrier Tape is widely used in SMT manufacturing for packaging various electronic components. Typical applications include integrated circuits (IC), LED components, connectors, sensors, resistors, capacitors, and other semiconductor devices.
